Description: |
Designates the number of channels to enable. The default is one channel. DataqSerial always enables channels in order (i.e., if 2 channels are enabled, it is always channels 1 and 2 in order, with the exception of a DI-194 (see below)). If ChannelCount is set higher than the total number of possible channels for the data acquisition instrument, ChannelCount will default to 1. For example, since a DI-194 has only 4 channels, if the ChannelCount is set to 10, only one channel will be enabled. |

Note to DI-194 users
ChannelCount is configured in the following manner:
To enable channels 1 and 2 use DataqSerial1.ChannelCount=2.
To enable all four channels use DataqSerial1.ChannelCount=4.
To enable channels out of sequence, use the following method: DataqSerial1.ChannelCount = 100 + H, where H is the binary channel selector. Refer to the binary channel selector table below:
H=1 enables channel 1
H=2 enables channel 2
H=3 enables channels 1 & 2
H=4 enables channel 3
H=5 enables channels 1 & 3
H=6 enables channels 2 & 3
H=7 enables channels 1 & 2 & 3
H=8 enables channel 4
H=9 enables channels 1 & 4
H=10 enables channels 2 & 4
H=11 enables channels 1 & 2 & 4
H=12 enables channels 3 & 4
H=13 enables channels 1 & 3 & 4
H=14 enables channels 2 & 3 & 4
H=15 enables channels 1 & 2 & 3 & 4
Example:
DataqSerial1.ChannelCount = 100 + 12
