Special Considerations

The sample rate shown in the top left corner of your display is a throughput rate. The sample rate per channel (obtained by dividing the selected sample throughput rate by the number of channels enabled) is displayed in the bottom annotation line as S/s/CHAN:.

 

 

Although there are thousands of different sample rates that may be configured, some discrete rates are not achievable. This limitation is due to the inability to divide the master clock in a manner that results in a quotient that is an even number. For example, this is the reason why you may get a sample rate of 2999.63 when you entered 3000.When using the DI-1110, DI-1120 or DI-2108 you may enter a sample interval that automatically sets the burst rate high to minimize aliasing.
