WinDaq Unlock

The optional (extra-cost) WinDaq/Unlock code provides extra features not available in WinDaq/Lite Acquisition software. These capabilities are specific to your device. There is no trial version.

Note: Activation is not necessary if you purchased the Unlock Code when you purchased the instrument - it will already be unlocked. WinDaq Unlocked stickers will be on the bottom of the device as well as on the box the device shipped in.

For DI-2008 instruments the unlock code enables ChannelStretch™ allowing you to synchronize data from multiple DI-2008 instruments (unlock code required for each instrument). Learn more about ChannelStretch at https://www.dataq.com/data-acquisition/channel-stretch/.

In the Help menu click on Unlock WinDaq.

Choose Help Unlock WinDaq (ALT, H, U).

Unlock WinDaq

To Unlock WinDaq:

1. Verify that the correct Serial # is displaying for your device.

2. Enter the Key given upon purchase of the software.

3. Click OK to activate.

A success dialog box will indicate WinDaq was successfully unlocked. Activation is written directly into the memory of the instrument.
