WinDaq Acquisition supports up to 32 waveform display windows (1 through 9, A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W), in which any one of 32 channels may be displayed. In some cases, any two waveforms may be displayed in an overlapping format within the same window (refer to Display Format Selection). Waveform windows carry a designator number or letter.

As the above table shows, the windows enabled for display are a function of the selected display format. By typing the following sequences, you can assign any acquired waveform channel number to the specified display window.
The Variable Waveform Assignments function is best implemented from the keyboard. Note that it is possible to use the mouse for this procedure (first enable the desired window by clicking in the left/right annotation margin (i.e., select a channel), then point to the View menu and drag down to Assign Channel…, and finally type the desired waveform channel number), but the keystroke approach is more streamlined. Because of this, only the keyboard procedure will be documented here.
