To apply a notch filter (removes the frequency, or frequencies if compressed, at the cross hair origin), position the cross hair origin at the desired point on the spectrum and:

the Transform menu click on Erase Frequency.
Choose
Transform Erase Frequency (ALT,
T, E).
The band pass filter is simply a combination of High-pass and Low-pass filters, applied to isolate a band of interest.
