Activating Procedure

As the above table shows, the windows enabled for display are a function of the selected display format. By typing the following sequences, you can assign any waveform channel number to the specified display window.

 

Note: The VARIABLE WAVEFORM ASSIGNMENTS function is best implemented using the keyboard. Note that it is possible to use the mouse for this procedure (first enable the desired window by clicking in the left/right annotation margin, then in the View menu click on Assign Channel…, and finally type the desired waveform channel number), but the keystroke approach is much more streamlined. Because of this, the keyboard procedure will be documented here.

The above method works for any enabled display format and allows you to examine the characteristics of any waveform channel within any display window.
