WinDaq Cloud Link Data Output to Google Sheets

  1. 1. The Google spreadsheet title specified in the Spreadsheet ID field under Google Sheets Setup. Enter the title as plain text (for example, ProductionRun).

  2. 2. A spreadsheet can also be identified by its SSID, the encoded string shown in field 2. When plain text is used, the spreadsheet cannot be renamed or moved. When the SSID is used, the spreadsheet can be renamed or moved without affecting the connection.

  3. 3. The spreadsheet header is created when Cloud Link sends the first record. All subsequent records must use the same header. Emails that fail the header check are labeled DATAQ_HEADER_ERROR.

  4. 4. A single row of data sent by Cloud Link. Data may be generated by a trigger condition or by manual capture.

  5. 5. CloudLinkGap appears in the spreadsheet when the Cloud Link internal buffer overruns, indicating a gap in the data stream.

  6. 6. In Analog Trigger mode, if WinDaq runs too fast or the trigger condition is too complex, Cloud Link may fall behind and the WinDaq buffer may overrun. This warning indicates a possible data gap.

  7. 7. This message appears if WinDaq exits unexpectedly (for example, due to a hardware crash) before Cloud Link closes.

  8. 8. Sheet1 is the default tab in a Google spreadsheet. If no tab is specified, data is sent to Sheet1.

  9. 9. If a tab name is specified (for example, Test2), data is sent to that tab.

  10. 10. If the tab name is the reserved keyword Monthly, all data from the same month is grouped into a single tab. This option supports automatic monthly reporting.

  11. 11. If the tab name is the reserved keyword Daily, all data from the same day is grouped into a single tab. This option supports automatic daily reporting.
