Installation

WinDaq/XL can be easily installed onto your computer from a CD or from the Internet. The process for both installation pathways is described here. A free 60-day trial version is installed. You will be prompted to enter a product ID code (PID) during installation. It is not required for the trial version.

CD

1.  Insert the latest WinDaq Resource CD into your CD-ROM drive.

2.  Choose the Option "Install Software."

3.  Choose the Option "Install Software for all other Products."

4.  Choose the Option "WinDaq/XL Add-on for Microsoft Excel (P)."

5.  Follow the instructions in the pop-up boxes for an easy and quick installation.

Internet

1.  Click here (http://www.dataq.com/support/upgrades/misc/index.php) to go directly to the download page or click on the Upgrade button above to go the our Upgrades Web page.

2.  Click on the WinDaq/XL option. The Download dialog box will open. Selecting Open will run the installation software. Selecting Save will save an executable file to your desktop allowing you to run the installation later by double-clicking on the downloaded icon.
