Status

Function

The Status command button gives you the current status of your Excel chart waveform data. When you click on the Status button, a pop-up information box appears on the screen.

Present Date & Time gives the current date and time while you are using the program.

Starting Date & Time gives the date and time when you first began the current WinDaq/XL session.

Total Rows gives the total number of rows that have been filled with data. If the Total Rows box reads "Stopped" you have not chosen to loop the data and therefore the cycle of new input is complete.

Present Row tells the current row that data is filling into. If the Present Row box reads "Stopped" you have not chosen to loop the data and therefore the cycle of new input is complete.

Scan Rate gives the number of scans/second (rows of data) WinDaq/XL is importing from WinDaq Acquisition Software.

Delete/Create New Toolbar on Start can be used if a user manually makes any changes to the WinDaq/XL toolbar and wants to revert to the Default (it is sometimes necessary to create a new toolbar after upgrading WinDaq/XL). This box should also be checked when uninstalling WinDaq/XL.

Data will continue to fill into the Excel chart while you are viewing the Status box. Once you are finished viewing the Status box, click on the Exit button.

Activating Procedure

Click on the Status command button (or use CTRL + SHIFT + U).
