Time/Date Display

Select the Actual Time or the Elapsed Time radio button to display times and/or dates of the waveform data in the WWB Navigator window. The time and date displays in the individual waveform files are still available. Actual Time will display the actual time in the waveform file. Elapsed Time will display the time to the beginning of the file. Use the Date and Time drop downs to select the desired display format.

Automatically Center Cursor

Check the Automatically Center Cursor checkbox to Synchronize all waveforms to the center of their display width. Any time you click on the WWB Navigator window, all waveforms automatically synchronize. If this box is not checked, each waveform file will keep its cursor position. Conversely, if this box is checked each waveform cursor will automatically center on the screen when the waveform files are synchronized.

Continuous Scroll

You may click and drag the WWB Navigator cursor to move through the data files. If the Continuous Scroll check box is left checked you will see the waveforms scroll as you drag the cursor. When scrolling through compressed data files, there may be a time delay between the waveform graphics display and the cursor (the graphics display will have to "catch up" to the cursor movement). Un-check the Continuous Scroll checkbox to eliminate the time delay and "jump to" a location of the waveform files (without continually updating or "scrolling through" the waveform graphics display).

Show exact time in compressed waveform(s)

Check the Show exact time in compressed waveform(s) to display the exact time of the location of the WWB Navigator Cursor. When using compression in synchronized waveforms each waveform cursor will move at a different speed based on the compression factor. If a waveform is set to a compression factor of 2, the uncompressed waveform will move 2 times faster than the compressed one. The waveform cursor on the compressed file will not move until the uncompressed waveform cursor moves. If this checkbox is left unchecked the time display in the compressed waveform will not change until the cursor moves (it may appear that the waveforms are out of sync). See also Compression.
