Note:This feature is for DI-149, DI-155, DI-1110, DI-1120, DI-2008, DI-2108, and DI-2108-P Counter channels only.
The Reset Count function immediately resets the counts accumulated in Channel 11 back to zero. Works in both Standby and Record modes.
The counter channel accumulates counts over time whether recording or in standby mode as soon as the Counter channel is enabled. The accumulated values will be recorded to your data file unless you reset the counts to zero. The maximum count value is 16,383 (65,535 for the DI-2008, DI-2108, and DI-2108-P) before the counter resets to zero automatically.
If multiple devices are scanning, this resets only the count in the selected device (the one with the brightened LED if that preference is enabled). To reset counts in all devices, press 0 first to deselect the channel. If a single device is scanning, this always resets its count even if no channel is selected.
Use the Edit > Preferences > Reset Count on New File Record when using the Edit > Preferences > Record Next File on Full or Open Next File on Full feature to reset counts to zero every time a new file is started.
Use the Edit > Preferences > Reset Count on Manual Record in WINDAQ Acquisition software to reset counts to zero every time you begin recording a data file using the File > Record command (F4).
In
the Edit menu click on Reset Count.
Choose
Edit Reset Count (ALT, E, T).
