When enabled, this function will display the distance from the current cursor position to the end of the data file, expressed as a percentage.
In the Options menu click on %EOF. This will enable the distance-to-end-of-file function in the bottom annotation line if it is disabled, or disables it if enabled.
Choose Options %EOF (ALT, O, F). This will enable the distance-to-end-of-file function in the bottom annotation line if it is disabled, or disables it if enabled.
When the distance-to-end-of-file function is enabled, a check mark is displayed on the Options menu immediately preceding the %EOF command. When the distance-to-end-of-file function is disabled, the check mark is not displayed.
The distance to the end of the data file is displayed as a percentage at the bottom of the screen where % EOF:0% indicates that the cursor position is at the beginning of the data file, and % EOF:100% indicates that the current cursor position is at the end of the data file.
(Assumes that cursors are enabled, and the EOF function was initially disabled)
