Integration Using Advanced CODAS

FacebooktwitterredditlinkedinmailFacebooktwitterredditlinkedinmail

As most of you remember from Calculus, integration allows you to determine the area under a curve. This is particularly handy in the field of data acquisition and analysis when attempting to determine the flow volume (or total flow) of a gas or liquid through a conduit over some period of time.

By providing the ability to integrate an entire flow rate waveform with a single mouse click, Advanced CODAS makes such calculations a cinch.

In this example (using the new Advanced CODAS GUI), we’ll show you step-by-step how to integrate flow data and display flow volume, without ever leaving the WinDaq Waveform Browser.
