Static IP

Products:  All DI-710, DI-715B, DI-718B, and DI-718Bx Ethernet Products, especially those that will be or are currently connected to a Static IP Network or directly to a PC.

 

This command can be used to change the IP address of a device installed on a Static IP Network, to change the device from one that is used on a dynamic DHCP run network to one plugged directly into a PC network card (or a Static IP network), or vice-versa, or to set up a device on a remote server.

 

Changing the IP address of an Instrument Installed on a Static IP Network

 

Moving an Ethernet Device to a DHCP Network(assuming the device was originally installed when directly connected to your PC or a Static Network)

 

Moving an Ethernet  Device to a Static Network or Connecting it to your PC(assuming the device was originally installed when connected to a DHCP Network)

 

Setting up a Remote Device (a device located on a "remote" server)
